"APPORTIONMENT" BUS PLATES
According to undated Virginia state literature, these are issued to:
"Bus-Interstate Carrier choosing to apportion vehicles"
and according to a 1981 brochure, "APPORTIONMENT BUS non-IRP"
Even though I'm not sure if these are true "Apportioned" plates, I thought they deserved mention here.
