Starting in June 1959, New Jersey started a replate with this new black on "buff" base. All plates issued from this point forward are still valid on the roads today. A special thanks goes to Ed Butler for the year-by-year prefix data from 1959-2004.

As of the BJA- series, production had returned to New Jersey.
The "D" series was reserved for DEALER plates.

		The "O" series was reserved for OMNIBUS plates.

	As of RIA-100, experimental reflectorized plates were issued. They continued until SZZ-999.	REFLECTORIZED

The "T" series was reserved for TRAILER plates. Starting at UAA-100, plates were non-reflectorized again.

1973     Jan - December:   YJA-100 ... YZZ-999
This series ended at YZZ-999 in May of 1973.		The "Z" series was (originally) reserved for COMMERCIAL plates. We'll see it later, though.
